Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Diesel Truck Maintenance Technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and perform maintenance on company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and reliably.

Starting pay is $26–$30 per hour with more pay possible based on experience and skill level. Shifts offer two options: early 4am-2pm and 8:30am-6pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel refuse trucks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Overtime availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $26-$30/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2 options. Expect 9hr+ working shifts. Overtime over 40hrs.1)4am-2pm M-F.2)830am-6pm M-F.
