Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking skilled technicians to safely operate, repair and maintain heavy duty diesel trucks and fleet equipment. The role includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure daily operations run safely and reliably.

Starting pay is $30-$40 per hour with paid training. The schedule offers two M-F shifts, PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, and benefits with overtime after 40 hours. Must have work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining heavy duty diesel trucks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair brakes, suspension and PTO components.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, rebuild and maintain Company trucks and equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and diagnose issues to keep fleet safe.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension, PTO and related systems.
• Ensure fleet is ready for daily operation and perform preventative maintenance.

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $30-$40/hr.

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.Paid Training!

Shift: 2 Options.

• 5am-3pm M-F (EXP Required For This Shift)
• 2pm-10pm M-F. (Entry Level/Intermediate Exp Fine)

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
