Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel truck technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.

Starting pay is $30-$40/hr with paid training, and opportunities for higher pay based on experience and certifications. Shifts offered: 5am-3pm or 2pm-10pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience required for the established shifts.
• Entry level acceptable for the second shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on diesel refuse trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $30-$40/hr.

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.Paid Training!

Shift: 2 Options.

• 5am-3pm M-F (EXP Required For This Shift)
• 2pm-10pm M-F. (Entry Level/Intermediate Exp Fine)
