Miller Transportation Group in Glens Falls, NY is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for the Miller Truck Leasing division. With over a century in business and a fleet of 8,000 trucks, you’ll work on Class 1–8 vehicles and refrigeration units, performing preventive maintenance and reconditioning.

Expect a 2nd shift schedule (Tue–Fri 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and Saturday, 8 hours with flexible start), competitive pay ($28–$40/hour) plus benefits including vacation, holidays, insurance, a 401(k) match,

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Own tools required or preferred.
• CDL Class A or B is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles, including refrigeration units.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using OEM software.
• Repair or replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.
