Job summary

Miller Transportation Group in Glens Falls, NY is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for the Miller Truck Leasing division. The position offers a Tuesday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift with Saturdays (8 hours, start time flexible) and pays $28–$40 per hour plus a second-shift differential and a $25 bonus for each Saturday worked.

You will perform preventative maintenance and reconditioning on Class 1–8 trucks and refrigeration units, diagnose engine faults with OEM software, and replace brakes,

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines (Class 1–7).
• CDL license (Class A or B) required or in process.
• Must have own tools and be able to work the specified shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and reconditioning on Class 1–8 vehicles and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engine fault codes using OEM software and proper warranty procedures.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering, suspension, and perform alignments; replace clutches and transmissions.
