Zusammenfassung

Miller Transportation Group is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Brewster, NY. With over 100 years of experience and a large fleet, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 1–8 vehicles in a shop environment.

The ideal candidate has prior fleet or diesel mechanic experience, a valid CDL (or ability to obtain one with our trainer), and is comfortable working Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience as a fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL with trainer assistance.
• Hand tools required.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes following proper warranty procedures.
• Repair/Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments; replace clutches & transmissions.
