Job summary

Miller Transportation Group in Rochester, NY is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician for Miller Truck Leasing. This position supports our growing fleet with class 1–8 trucks, including refrigerated units, and offers a stable, family-owned environment with long-standing roots in the industry.

Qualifications

• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• CDL Class A or B or ability to acquire with trainer assistance.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles, including refrigerated vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair equipment following proper warranty procedures.
• Work inside and in the yard doing yard checks and repairs.

Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring aDiesel Mechanic Technician for ourMiller Truck Leasing division in Rochester, NY. With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. You Will:

• Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles, including refrigerated vehicles

• Diagnose, document, and repair equipment following proper warranty procedures
• Work inside and in the yard doing yard checks and repairs

You Have:

• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors

• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Ability to work:
• Monday - Friday from 2:00 PM until 10:30 PM
