Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, electrical, and repair services on trucks and equipment
• Read repair orders and conduct repairs on engines and components
• Install parts such as injectors, pistons, bearings, clutches, brakes, batteries, transmissions, and more
• Inspect and adjust safety devices and protective guards
• Lubricate parts and verify repairs through test drives
• Communicate repair needs to the service team
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and use safety equipment
• Assist with other projects as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Positive attitude with mechanical aptitude
• Experience with brands like International, Isuzu, Ford, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, Allison, Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Kenworth, or Peterbilt is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Medium/Heavy Diesel Technician
• Valid driver’s license
• Own a full set of personal hand tools
• Knowledge of commercial truck and engine repair
• Completed diesel/automotive certification programs or equivalent experience
• Proficient with computers and basic applications
• High School Diploma/GED; vocational or technical certification is a plus
