Reyes Fleet Management in Lebanon, IL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on our tractor and trailer equipment. The role requires use of diagnostic tools and adherence to DOT and Reyes safety policies, with a Sunday-Wednesday, 3:30pm-2:00am shift.

Qualified applicants have a High School Diploma/GED, 2+ years’ related experience, own tools, and a valid CDL/MVR. Eligible for ASE/CDL incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT-compliant MVR.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment and trailers.
• Document repairs and parts used in AssetWorks with accuracy.
• Learn and assist diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes safety policies and use PPE properly.
• Drive Reyes vehicles as required and maintain driver qualification files.

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the US, is looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician Bto perform repairs and maintenance on our tractor and trailer equipment at our Martin Browershop in Lebanon, IL.

Shift Options : Sunday - Wednesday 3:30pm-2:00am

Pay: $26.00-$30.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurately inspecting, repairing and completing routine preventative maintenance of Fleet Equipment, including standard component inspections and repairs.
• Complete necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed through the online AssetWorks system.
• Vehicles and Fleet Equipment.
• Learn and assist diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices.
• This position requires driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 2 plus years of related experience
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
