Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A for our Martin Brower shop in Lebanon, IL. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining tractors, trailers and related equipment with safety and compliance at the forefront.

We offer a Sunday-Wednesday shift, competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. CDL A is preferred and candidates must have their own tools and a valid license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools and a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
• CDL A is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tools.
• Perform inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA and Reyes policies; ensure proper PPE and safety practices.

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the US, is looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician Ato perform repairs and maintenance on our tractor and trailer equipment at ourMartin Browershop inLebanon, IL.

Shift Options : Sunday - Wednesday 3:30pm-2:00am

Pay: $31.00-$35.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
• Must possess own tools
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
