Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring for a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A at our Milwaukee, WI facility to repair and maintain trailer and tractor equipment. This full-time role offers a 10:00AM–6:30PM shift and exciting earning potential with weekly pay.

CDL incentive pay is available with an active CDL A license. The position requires a GED and owning your own tools; CDL A is preferred in some locations. Travel may be required, with strong career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR; DOT compliance.
• CDL A preferred; mandatory in some locations.
• Ability to lift 50–100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders in the online system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tools.
• Perform detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes policies; ensure safety practices.
• May require driving Reyes vehicles; maintain driver qualification files.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Milwaukee, WI. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.

Shift: Full-TimelMonday-Friday 10:00AM-6:30PM

Pay: $36.50/HR

CDL Incentive Pay (Additional $1.00/per hour with active CDL A license)-Preferred but not required

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
• Must possess own tools
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
