Job summary

Silvi Materials seeks a Diesel/Truck Mechanic for our Logan, NJ location. You will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy‑duty diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a busy shop environment.

Shifts are 2nd shift starting at 4:00 pm with differential. We offer top-tier benefits, overtime as needed, and a strong potential for career growth within Silvi Materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fleet/transport maintenance for medium to large company.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read maintenance and wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance on heavy‑duty diesel vehicles.
• Repair or overhaul engines, transmissions, axles and sub‑assemblies.
• Perform electrical work and sensor calibration.
• Respond to road service calls with company vehicle.
• Keep time, parts and work records accurate.
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment.
