Job summary

Silvi Materials Diesel Mechanic position in Morrisville, PA. You will diagnose and repair heavy‑duty diesel trucks and equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and handle electrical and mechanical subsystems. Shift options include 2nd or 3rd shift with differential, requiring strong repair skills and safe work habits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fleet/transportation repair and maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License and knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Independent, with ability to work in a garage or field setting.
• CDL-A and PA Inspection License preferred; DOT brake cert helpful.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Remove, repair, rebuild, and replace engines, transmissions, axles and related sub-assemblies.
• Perform electrical work and diagnose fuel management and ignition systems.
• Repair sensors, EGR valves, and computerized systems per standards.
• Maintain clean work areas and prepare time/materials reports.
• Respond to road service calls using company vehicle.
