Silvi Materials is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for the 3rd shift in Millstone, NJ. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of heavy equipment and class-A trailers, working with diesel engines and electrical systems.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and timely maintenance. Qualified candidates have fleet repair experience, a valid CDL-A preferred, and familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Three years of fleet/transportation repair experience recommended.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance and parts manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe and professional working environment.
• Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Repair and replace diesel engines, transmissions, axles, and sub-assemblies as needed.
• Perform electrical work including wiring and starter rebuilding.
• Learn and use diagnostic equipment and respond to road service calls as required.
