Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons in Dunmore, PA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repair and maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications. You will identify parts, use diagnostic tools, and work with garage lifts and jacking equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates have a diesel engine technical degree or training, basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine technical degree or relevant training, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repair and maintenance on trucks and construction equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Identify and obtain replacement parts as needed and ensure proper warranty procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble major assemblies and adjust systems as required.
• Maintain safe work practices with garage tools and lifting equipment.
