Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons in Allentown, PA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics and maintenance on trucks and construction equipment in accordance with manufacturer specs. The role requires ability to read manuals, use diagnostic tools, and work safely with lifts and jacks.

Candidates should have a diesel engine technical degree or relevant training, strong problem-solving skills, valid driver's license, and the drive to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine technical degree or formal training or relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specs.
• Basic computer skills; able to learn repair software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and truck components per manufacturer specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment.
• Identify replacement parts and use appropriate tools and diagnostic devices.
