Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons is expanding its Lehigh Valley division in Allentown and seeks skilled Diesel Mechanics. You will diagnose, repair and maintain trucks and construction equipment, reading manuals, using diagnostic tools, and replacing parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read/interpret technical data and manuals.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and garage tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repair and maintenance on trucks and construction equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts to complete repairs.
• Adhere to warranty policies and procedures.
• Independently analyze and resolve problems; correct deficiencies by overhauling and replacing components.
• Operate machine shop tasks and perform alignments, bearing checks, and systems adjustments.
• Support special projects as assigned.
