Silvi Materials is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Downingtown, PA, for 1st shift with a 10:00 am start. You will service our fleet of mixers, heavy equipment and trailers, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.

Qualificações

• Fleet/transportation repair and maintenance experience of at least 3 years.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge and experience with repair and maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles and safety regulations (OSHA, DOT).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe and professional working environment.
• Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Remove, repair, rebuild, and/or replace assemblies and sub-assemblies on trucks and equipment.
• Perform electrical work including wiring systems and starter rebuilding.
• Diagnose computerized fuel management and ignition systems, and engine timing.
• Weld broken assemblies and parts as required.
• Respond to road service calls with a company service vehicle.
