Quality Talent Group's client in the building automation and industrial technology sector seeks a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician in Watertown, MA. The role focuses on maintaining heavy equipment, diagnosing faults, and performing preventative maintenance on diesel-powered systems.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years' experience with Mack trucks, rollers or pavers, and a proven ability to determine causes of operating errors and implement fixes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience servicing heavy industrial equipment such as Mack fleet trucks, rollers and pavers.
• Experience with diesel equipment and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to diagnose operating errors and determine effective solutions.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections on mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the mobile equipment fleet in a state of readiness.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Repair diesel engines and replace worn parts.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs and actions.
