Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic for a client in the building automation and industrial technology sector. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, perform maintenance, and work outdoors in all weather.

A valid driver's license is required and ability to lift 100 pounds. The role includes diagnosing issues, adjusting ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems, and maintaining a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics.
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Assist other mechanics as needed
