Job summary

Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines on heavy equipment. You will maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and document issues for supervision.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 3 years related experience or mechanics school, valid driver's license with CDL preferred, and ability to lift 100 pounds. You will work on-site, coordinate with team, and ensure timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred.
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions).
• Must have good organizational skills, be able to meet strict deadlines, and document issues and procedures.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures. Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines.
• Maintain an effective system of communication with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.
• Have basic computer proficiency and good verbal and written communication skills.
