Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic for our client in the building automation and industrial technology sector. You will diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, repair diesel and gasoline engines, and maintain safe, clean work areas while communicating effectively with supervisors and customers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of related experience (or mechanics school graduate), and ability to lift up to 100 pounds unassisted.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• 3 years of related experience or mechanics school graduate.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines and document issues and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures; repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engines.
• Maintain an effective communication system with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.
• Have basic computer proficiency and good verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions)
• Must have good organizational skills, be able to meet strict deadlines, and document issues and procedures.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.
