Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks an experienced diesel mechanic to support heavy equipment maintenance.

You will diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems in outdoor conditions. 3+ years related experience or a mechanics school graduate is required; a valid CDL is preferred. Must lift 100 pounds and work in all weather.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions).
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines.
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Mechanic apprenticeship or diesel mechanic training
