Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic for our client in Prosper, TX. The role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel and gasoline engines, maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems, and performing routine preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.

The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the ability to lift heavy loads. Ideal candidates have 3 years of related experience or a heavy equipment mechanics program completion, with a valid driver's

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in related duties or completion of heavy equipment mechanics program.
• Must have valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines.
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and steering systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions)
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
