Job summary

Unknown Client, a global technology company with a long history of engineering excellence, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician in Massachusetts. You will maintain and inspect mobile equipment, diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and repair diesel engines to keep a heavy fleet ready for operation.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience with heavy industrial equipment, including diesel systems, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience servicing heavy industrial equipment such as Mack fleet trucks, rollers and/or pavers.
  • Prior experience with diesel equipment.
  • Ability to determine the cause of operating errors and to identify solutions.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the mobile equipment fleet in a state of readiness.
  • Perform vehicle/mobile equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Repair diesel engines and replace damaged or worn parts.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
  • Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
