General Summary: Responsible for vehicle repairs, including electrical systems, engine repairs, and exhaust systems with emission control parts to comply with EPA regulations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follow inspection checklists and procedures.
2. Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
3. Interpret diagnostic test results using equipment, multimeters, and vendor software.
4. Use hydraulic jacks or hoists to raise trucks and heavy parts.
5. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
6. Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts, and attach system components.
7. Maintain tires and brakes to meet CSA standards.
8. Repair or replace malfunctioning components and electrical or mechanical equipment.

Job Specifications

• Must provide own tools.
• CDL A license preferred.
• Extensive inspection experience required.
• Strong preventative maintenance skills required.
• Experience with refer trucks preferred.

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Some outdoor work from a service truck at our location.
• Exposure to dampness, humidity, chemicals, exhaust fumes, gasoline, and diesel fuel.
