Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a skilled technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain Company owned or leased heavy‑duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure safe operation. Starting pay is $25-$35/hr with the potential for higher pay based on experience and certifications.

Shift is 2pm‑12:30am, Monday through Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include 15 days PTO, monthly tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and a 401K

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.Sign On Bonus! $5,000 paid in 2 installments
