Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic in Wisconsin to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company trucks and equipment to keep our fleet running reliably.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and benefits after probation. Overtime, tool allowances, boot reimbursement, PTO and retirement plan help support your work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Operate, repair, rebuild and maintain heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot and complete repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance to keep fleet ready for daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair diesel refuse trucks, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension, PTO and other components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep trucks operating safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.Shift: 2pm-12am M-F. Overtime after 40hrs.
