Essential Job Functions

• Preferably have Medium Duty Diesel experience.
• Possess adequate mechanic tools.
• Flexible schedule, hours from 4AM to 9PM.
• Must be 21+ with a valid Driver's License for at least 3 years, in good standing.
• Key components include obtaining/possessing a CDL License and brake certification; HVAC and electrical knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, belt and hose replacements, brake inspections, bearing repacking, tire checks) on all vehicle sizes monthly.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, engine, and electrical issues.
• Drive automatic and manual vehicles for testing, transfers, and deliveries.
• Manage inventory and order parts as needed.

Performance Requirements

• Read and understand technical manuals, repair orders, labels, gauges (in English).
• Write work and purchase orders.
• Communicate verbally in English via phone for parts and supplies ordering.
• Possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles from 2,000 to 50,000 lbs., both automatic and manual.
• Minimum CDL B with air brakes preferred or ability to obtain.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 50 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie on back for prolonged periods.
• Ability to hoist vehicles with lift devices and work in environments with chemicals, fumes, and noise.
• Full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours/week, including occasional weekends and on-call shifts.
