Responsibilities

• Perform electrical systems diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle electronics and computer control systems.
• Assess engine performance and drivability, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Service and repair diesel engine systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Inspect and maintain brake and suspension systems for safety and performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair transmission and drivetrain systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with electrical systems diagnostics and repairs.
• Familiarity with vehicle electronics and computer controls.
• Ability to assess engine performance and drivability effectively.
• Knowledge of brake and suspension systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and inspection protocols.
• Understanding of transmission and drivetrain systems.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
