Job description

Creative Coach Co./Fun Bus has an immediate opening for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team servicing our fleet of vehicles at our shop in Lancaster, Ohio. This is a full-time position working four 10-hour days, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and weekends, if needed.

Qualifications & Skills Needed:

• 2+ years experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and weekends if needed
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., and perform stooping, bending, twisting, etc.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on vehicles
• Conduct diagnostic tests using company tools and software
• Maintain preventative maintenance program for 10+ vehicles
• Ensure compliance with factory, industry, and DOT requirements
• Use company-provided supplies efficiently and cost-effectively
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on all vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Conduct inspections, tire rotations, electrical system checks per DOT requirements
• Maintain parts inventory
