Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under supervision. This role supports drivers on routes and services advanced vehicles in a state-of-the-art fleet.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or repair.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of a vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluids replenishment, tire changes, and light repairs.
• Perform basic electrical work and visual inspections to identify issues.
• Complete Company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
