Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.

The role supports drivers by maintaining a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment and involves basic vehicle system knowledge for routine maintenance and repair. Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluids replenishment, light repairs and basic electrical work.
• Completes company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
