Job summary

Kirk Bros. Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and ensure heavy equipment is road-ready. If you take pride in quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to meet you.

You will diagnose engines and drivetrains, perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, and collaborate with operations to prioritize work. CDL/ASE is a plus but not required; safety and reliability come first.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to safely operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work
• CDL or ASE certifications are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other mechanical systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meet safety and operational standards
