Job summary

Jim Shorkey Auto Group is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks in our North Huntingdon shop. You’ll use diagnostics and hands-on repairs to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of diesel mechanic experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
  • ASE certifications preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
  • Factory training available.
