Job summary

Jim Shorkey Family Auto Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our service team. You will diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and keep commercial trucks and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of diesel experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work on medium- and heavy-duty trucks. We offer competitive pay, benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks
• Knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC systems
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
• Factory training available
