Job summary

KanEquip invites students enrolled in a Diesel/Ag Equipment/Heavy Equipment Technology program to join our Service Internship II. This program runs during Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027, offering practical experience with testing, diagnostics, and service tasks.

Ideal candidates are training in relevant programs, can lift 75 pounds, and possess a drive to learn diesel engines, hydraulics, and precision ag systems while collaborating with parts, sales, and service staff.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Diesel/Ag Equipment/Heavy Equipment Technology program.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds as required.
• Developing customer service skills and communication abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from KanEquip.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the mission, vision, and goals of KanEquip service department.
• Perform pre-delivery set ups and basic service work as assigned.
• Develop skills to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, and fuel systems.
• Work with online parts and service information systems.
• Develop skills to complete reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist other diesel technicians and departments to bring value and customer service.
