Job summary

Ziegler Inc. offers an internship program designed to give hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of equipment while learning from senior technicians.

You will assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop environment, under guidance to develop real-world mechanical skills. The program includes scholarship money and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades and receive positive instructor recommendations.
• Own mechanic tool set and be safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines, construction or agriculture equipment in a shop environment.
• Learn to respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
• Work with senior technicians to develop skills and knowledge.
