Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a motivated entry-level Heavy Equipment Technician with hands-on role supporting maintenance and repairs of rental equipment on active construction sites. Responsibilities include assisting mechanics with aerial lifts, loaders, excavators, and other gear, performing routine oil changes, filter and lubrication tasks, and inspections.

You will help troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components while maintaining organized shop

Qualifications

• Assist mechanics with maintenance and repairs on rental equipment including aerial lifts, compactors, loaders, and excavators
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and equipment inspections
• Support troubleshooting of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
• Help maintain shop organization, tools, and equipment documentation
• Assist with equipment inspections and preparing machines for rental or return from jobsites
