Job summary

Ziegler Inc. invites student interns to gain hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment in a shop setting. You will work with senior technicians, learn best practices, and contribute to customer-focused service while developing real-world skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades and seek positive instructor recommendations.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and team orientation.
• Own a mechanic tool set and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• This role is safety-sensitive and requires a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop.
• Learn from senior technicians and help respond to customer needs promptly.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs across construction or agricultural equipment.
