Job summary

Aggreko seeks a Diesel Generator Technician based in Richmond, VA. You will install, commission, and service power distribution equipment including generators, transformers, switchgear, and related systems, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction across field and service centers.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and work either solo or with a team at client sites or the shop, with potential overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Based at Richmond, VA service center and available for overtime/weekends.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of generators, diesel engines, electrical equipment and HVAC or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer sites and perform repairs.
• Operate alone or with a team to set up and operate equipment at sites or shop.
