Job summary

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized medium/heavy-duty truck program or equivalent training.
2-year school plus 1 year of experience or 3 years of fleet maintenance experience.
Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles within planned time tolerances.
Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) for tractors, trailers, and equipment per regulations.
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including engines and transmissions.
Document all work on work orders and follow company procedures.
Learn and use Sysco computer programs for maintenance tracking.
