Job summary

Sysco Ventura, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician to learn and perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on Trailers, Tractors, and related equipment. The role aims to reduce downtime and improve fleet reliability through diagnosis and quality repairs.

The position requires basic vehicle systems knowledge, hands-on repair ability, and the capacity to work with SAP Work Orders. ASE/Multi certifications and a CDL-A are preferred to support advanced maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school.
• 1 year experience with 2 year technical degree or 3 years experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Perform maintenance repairs and diagnose malfunctions per manufacturer specifications, including engines, transmissions, driveline, electrical, HVAC, and brake systems.
• Document all work on Work Order (SAP) using the Complaint, Cause, and Correction format.
• Learn and develop efficiency in all Sysco maintenance computer programs.
