Job summary

NFI Industries in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an on-site Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers using JPRO, OEM software, multimeters, and Windows-based tools.

You will perform preventive maintenance, complete DOT inspections, and work safely with lifting up to 75 lbs. We offer an hourly wage, a sign-on bonus, and a strong benefits package along with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Tractor and trailer electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
• Familiar with JPRO, OEM software, multimeters, Windows tools.
• DOT inspections and preventive maintenance per FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance across our tractor and trailer fleet.
• Complete DOT inspections per FMCSA regulations.
• Work safely with lifting and other physical tasks.
