Job summary

NFI in Janesville, WI is hiring diesel technicians to maintain a dedicated fleet. You’ll use diagnostic tools like JPRO and OEM software, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers.

The job requires a valid driver's license, with preference for a Class B license, and either a technical degree or 2+ years of maintenance experience. We offer competitive pay, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license.
• Technical or advanced degree or 2 years or more of equivalent maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
• Perform DOT inspection per FMCSA guidelines
• Physically capable of lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more and moving to access equipment
