Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a diesel mechanic to join our skilled shop team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on a dedicated fleet, using JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, and multimeters.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, a technical degree or 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license.
• Technical degree or 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, multimeters, and Windows.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer issues using standard testing procedures and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors and trailers.
• Perform DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines.
• Lift and/or pull up to 75 lbs, stand or sit for extended periods, and move flexibly to reach equipment.
