Job summary

American Cementing LLC in the United States is seeking a Mechanic I-III to inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment. You will run diagnostics, perform preventive maintenance, and keep fleet records.

The role requires reading manuals, using diagnostic tools, and adhering to DOT standards. Candidates with high school diploma or GED and diesel tech training are preferred; oil and gas experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical training or certifications in diesel mechanics preferred.
Mechanical experience; oil and gas industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel trucks and trailers.
Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections in accordance with DOT standards.
Run diagnostic tests to determine vehicle issues and execute necessary repairs.
Replace and rebuild components including engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and braking systems.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Coordinate third-party repair services when necessary.
Support and lead other technicians in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
