Job summary

American Cementing LLC is seeking a Mechanic I-III in Rifle, Colorado to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment. The role supports fleet safety and reliability, performing tests, and executing repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Your work will involve maintenance, record-keeping, and collaboration with supervisors, with emphasis on safety and quality in a demanding outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or diesel certifications preferred.
• Mechanical experience; oil and gas industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections in accordance with DOT standards.
• Run diagnostic tests to determine vehicle issues and execute necessary repairs.
• Replace and rebuild components including engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and braking systems.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Coordinate third-party repair services when necessary.
• Support and lead other technicians in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
• Configure and maintain test stations and systems for verifying repair accuracy.
• Analyze test data to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
