Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management, one of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., seeks a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A for the Downey Coca-Cola Bottling shop. You will repair tractors, trailers, and MHE, with tool and boot allowances and comprehensive health benefits.

The shift runs 3:00pm–11:30pm, seven days with two days off per week, and includes opportunities for advancement after probation. A valid CDL is highly desired and there is potential for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years related experience.
• Must own tools.
• Valid license to operate company vehicles; DOT/compliance requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Document work orders and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and use of PPE.
• This position may require driving Reyes family of businesses vehicles; DOT-driver qualification file must be maintained.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
