Job summary
Reyes Fleet Management in Downey, CA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to maintain and repair our tractor, trailer, light duty vans, and MHE equipment at our Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling shop.
You will perform preventative maintenance, document work in AssetWorks, and work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This full-time evening shift offers union benefits, pension, and growth opportunities. Safety certifications and DOT compliance are emphasized.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years related experience.
- Must be 18+ years old and have own tools.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR per DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair and perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
- Document repairs and parts used in AssetWorks system.
- Learn and assist diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools.
- Adhere to safety policies and DOT/OSHA regulations.
- Maintain driver qualification file and support DOT drug screening requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
